Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen is certain that McLaren will not be able to dominate the Canadian Grand Prix, to the extent which they did in Monte Carlo. Raikkonen knows that the F2007 is stronger than the McLaren on courses like Montreal and is confident that he can fight for the victory on the Canadian street circuit. This is what the Finn had to say:

"One thing is for sure, McLaren will not be one minute ahead of us, like they were in Monaco. The nature of Montreal is so different compared to Monaco, although they are still both street circuits.

I won in Canada two years ago. Before Monaco we tested in Paul Ricard to set the car up for Montreal. The car felt very good, but you never know how it goes. We'll have to wait and see just how competitive we are when we arrive in Montreal. Ferrari has had very good results in Montreal and Indianapolis and that's very encouraging."

Ferrari are indeed often strong in North America and this year's events will likely be no different. The F2007 is built for speed and both Montreal and Indianapolis are high speed circuits. The disadvantages of the Ferrari's longer wheelbase were obvious in Monaco, though they will not likely factor into the upcoming races. Ferrari will fight directly with McLaren for victory and may very well have the upper hand.
