Schumacher Impressed After His First F2005 Test

Michael Schumacher took his first run in the new F2005 at The Mugello Circuit, during the Scuderia's testing session today. The 7-Time World Champion was rather impressed with the car saying that it is a "good step forward."

Third and final day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro. Today, Michael Schumacher made his debut at the wheel of the F2005. The World Champion completed a total of 81 laps, (one on the short version of the track,) setting a best time of 1’21”233.

“It’s always great to drive a new car and today that applied even more so, after how things went in Malaysia last weekend,” commented Michael at the end of the day. “What I can say after the first day of testing is that the F2005 seems to be a good step forward compared to what we had before.”
