Last day of testing for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro team at Mugello and Fiorano. Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello were both in action in F2005 cars and carried out an extensive tyre development program.

Michael Schumacher took the track in an F2005 for his final day of
testing this week. Schumacher was on track at the Fiorano circuit where
he worked on Bridgestone tyre development. The 7-Time World Champion
completed 142 laps in a fastest time of 0'57.222.
Drivers: Rubens Barrichello
Cars: F2005 and F2004 M
Circuit: Autodromo del Mugello
It was also the last day of testing for Rubens Barrichello. Rubens was
also in an F2005 but unlike Michael he was at the Mugello circuit. Tyre
testing was also the focus of Rubens test as the tyres are currently the
weakest part of the car. The Brazilian ran 77 laps, the quickest being a
1’21.920.
Testing will continue on Monday at the high speed Monza circuit with
Luca Badoer at the wheel of an F2004 M.
