Ferrari joined eight other teams today, testing at both the Silverstone and Monza circuits. Luca Badoer was in action for the team at the Silverstone Circuit. Badoer worked on crucial Bridgestone tyre development, preparing for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Italian test driver ran a total of 23 laps, the quickest being a 1'22.935. Badoer's time was good enough for 5th on the day. The Italian would have likely posted faster time, if not for the onset of in climate weather conditions.

Circuit: Monza
Driver: Marc Gene
Car: F2005

While Luca Badoer was in action at Silverstone, Marc Gene was working at Monza. This was of course in violation of the testing agreement as it states that teams can not test at two circuits simultaneously. This doesn't really matter though because Ferrari never signed the agreement. Like Badoer, Gene focused on tyre development and also aerodynamic setup for Montreal. After 127 laps, Ferrari's new test driver was 2nd fastest with a 1’22.381.
