Barrichello Joins Gene For Testing

Ferrari continued testing today with Rubens Barrichello joining Marc Gene for tyre and aerodynamic development. Both in F2005 cars, Barrichello was working at the Silverstone Circuit, while Gene was on track at Monza.

Circuit: Silverstone Driver: Rubens Barrichello Car: F2005 Rubens Barrichello continued where Luca Badoer left off yesterday, for testing at the Silverstone Circuit. Like Badoer, Rubens was working on tyre development and car setup for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Brazilian covered 115 laps, the fastest being a 1’21.536, leaving him 9th on the timing sheets. Barrichello will continue testing at Silverstone tomorrow.
Circuit: Monza Marc Gene continued his tyre and aerodynamic testing schedule, which he started yesterday. Gene was again working at the high speed Monza Circuit. The Spanish test driver completed 115 laps, the quickest in a time of 1’21.536. Gene set the fastest time of the day, ahead of the only other driver on track, Felipe Massa. Marc Gene will also continue work tomorrow at the same circuit as today. |
