Ferrari's new signing Felipe Massa, has said that he has no intentions of playing number two to Michael Schumacher. His comments stem from the belief that the young Brazilian will just be a secondary driver and that Schumacher will be the important one. When asked about being a number two driver, Massa had this to say:

"This is not written in my contract and I will do everything I can to be quicker."

Former Ferrari number two Rubens Barrichello also thinks that Massa will be even with Schumacher next season:

"These days Ferrari think much more as a two car team, so I think Felipe will have a better time than when I joined in 2000."
