Michael Schumacher pulled a Valentino Rossi yesterday as he switched from his usual racing format, to test a MotoGP Ducati Desmosedici. Unlike Rossi, Schumacher has no plans of switching series and he insists that this run was just for fun.

Schumacher ran around 40 laps on the Desmosedici motorcycle at the Mugello circuit. Schumacher was of course quite of the pace of actual MotoGP riders, about 25 seconds off in fact. Here is what the 7-Time World Champion had to say about his run:

"It's something I wanted to do for a long time and I must say that it was a lot of fun."
