Michael Schumacher admits that the new Ferrari V8 is not as powerful as the V10 but also that they are not entirely bad. The 7-Time World Champion still believs the new engine specification will maintain an exciting level of racing in Formula 1. Here is what Schumacher had to say about Ferrari's new V8:

"On my first lap I was shocked but then I noticed I hadn't used the engine's full potential. I do feel the limitation of its power, but I expected a lot worse. I feel a much lower level of power, but the sensation is nice. It's interesting and the sound is totally different. And in terms of the fun of driving there's no limitation.

We've been working very hard, the team has done lots of work in the past few weeks and things look optimistic," Schumacher told Autosport."
