Massa Targets Victory In 2006

Felipe Massa wants to win in 2006 and he certainly believes Ferrari can assist him in doing so. It is Felipe's opinion that the new tyre regulations for the 2006 season will aid Ferrari in not only winning but perhaps retaking the championship.

Felipe Massa wants to win in 2006 and he certainly believes Ferrari can assist him in doing so. It is Felipe's opinion that the new tyre regulations for the 2006 season will aid Ferrari in not only winning but perhaps retaking the championship. Here is what Massa had to say: "I would like a few podiums. Maybe even a win. But I am just starting, even though the title is my goal. But if I am just behind Michael, then that is okay. When I raced go-karts, he was my hero. I dreamed to one day drive against him. It is incredible that it is happening now. It's no secret that we had a difficult year with tyres but there has been an improvement and there are even more improvements to come. The tyre rule change will help us. There haven't been many rules in recent years that have helped us but this one does."" |
