Ferrari was once again fastest today during testing at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain, with Felipe Massa in an F2004. Michael Schumacher was also on track, but he set the slowest time of the day in Ferrari's new 2006 car, the 248 F1.

Massa ran a total of 90 laps of the circuit in Bahrain, setting the quickest time of the day with a 1'30.567. The young Brazilian's laps today were spent performing Bridgestone tyre testing.

Michael Schumacher's second day of testing at Sakhir was no better than his first as yet another mechanical problem limiting running on the day. Nonetheless, Schumacher ran 21 laps of the Sakhir circuit. His fastest time was a 1'32.919, this was slower than both Hondas and both Scuderia Toro Rosso cars.

The Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro Team continues testing tomorrow at the Bahraini circuit, with Michael Schumacher on track.
