Michael Schumacher has stated that Ferrari is once again capable of competing with the top teams and returning to victory. Schumacher knows that every one at the Scuderia has worked very hard during the off season and now they will fight to take back their championships. Here is what the 7-Time World Champion had to say: "We're on the pace and can fight the rest. It's great. After all the hard work we've put in during the last couple of weeks, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks it's about time. It looks as though we've got a better package this year than we did last year and we're all ready to compete. The car has to be competitive. If I didn't stand a chance of winning races and competing for the championship, I don't think I would be interested in continuing my career in Formula One." This has been the most confident statement from Schumacher regaring 2006 and should be taken as a very good sign of things to come.
