Despite numerous tests, there is still a possibility that Ferrari's V8 engine is not reliable. The Red Bull team will also be powered by Ferrari V8 engines this year and their driver Christian Klien, has stated that the engine has reliability issues. Here is what the young Austrian had to say about testing Ferrari's V8:

"When our car first came out, we could only do two or three laps at a time. Ferrari have the same problems as us."

Since Red Bull's first tests, they have made significant modifications to their car to allow the engine to work better and last longer. Ferrari no doubt have done the same and if anything, Ferrari will be the most reliable team this year, based on their remarkable reliability over the past few seasons.
