Ferrari Technical Director Ross Brawn, has mad it clear that Ferrari has big changes for the 248 F1, planned for Imola. Brawn states that both engine and aerodynamic modifications are scheduled for the first European race of the season, where Ferrari is expected to be very strong. This is what Ross had to say about what will happen at the San Marino Grand Prix:

"I think it will be quite a good step forward for us, both aerodynamically and mechanically."

Renault's Pat Symonds had earlier suggested that Ferrari will dominate in San Marino, due to the possible advantage which Bridgestone possesses in colder condtions. This combined with Ferrari's planned updates should make for a very strong showing indeed.
