Alonso Dodges Schumacher's Peculiar Compliment

Fernando Alonso has responded to a strange bit of praise by Michael Schumacher, saying he will answer on the track. Schumacher stated that Fernando will prove himself to Michael in this race, although Alonso doesn't believe he has anything to prove to Schumacher. 7-Time World Champion Schumacher first stated that:

"We haven't had a close fight, so maybe he will prove himself to me this weekend."

Alonso then later responded to Schumacher's rather odd compliment by saying that:

"I don't think I have to have an answer to it.I have always done my answering on the track, this season in Bahrain, last year at Suzuka and Imola, that's enough for me."

Schumacher will not likely be seeing much of Alonso this weekend and Fernando starts 3rd and Michael will begin his race down in 11th. The next race in San Marino will however likely be a closer battle, hopefully one as exciting as the two men's dynamic battle last year at the same track.
