Todt Supports Felipe Massa

Ferrari Team Principal Jean Todt has defended his new driver Felipe Massa, after his recent performance in Australia. Massa so far this season has either been very impressive or extremely dissapointing. This is what Todt had to say about Felipe's race in Australia:

"He had a tough job during qualifying. Unfortunately he lost the car in the last part of the circuit. I would say that in the first part, if he wanted to be, he was very quick. In the race, he could not defend his chances. But Felipe is a very talented driver, very good driver and I'm sure time will allow people to understand that."

Massa's high point of the season came when he took 2nd place during qualifying in Bahrain, but since then he has been on a slippery slope downwards. His team mate Michael Schumacher has also not had the best of luck and the performances of both men, may be completely determined by the Ferrari cars faults.
