Injuries delay the squad announcement

Its no surprise that even at this stage of the season there are injuries that could restrict the team to face Middlesex tomorrow.

Martyn Moxon told Ananova today that two of his players were suffering from injuries and that this has delayed him naming the 12 for the seasons opening game.

Gordon Muchall and Mark Davies are likely to make their championship debuts tomorrow but we'll just have to wait and see what the full squad will be.

It will be the first opportunity for Harmison and Peng to show off in competition what they have learnt at the National Academy over the winter.
