Tonights Cambridge Evening News reports of two trialists that are joining the squad when they return for pre-season training next week. The first of which is midfielder Steve Searle from Barnet. The 25 year old made a number of apperances for the club for three years before Barnets relegation to the Conference last year.

The second is Everton youngster Damien Curran, a winger who has just been released by the Merseysiders. Taylor also revealed that there are two other trialists been confirmed for next week but didn't name eihter.

Taylor told the Cambridge Evening News, "Experience tells you if you have six to eight trialists at pre-season you will do well to get a couple of players out of it at the end.

"But Steve Searle and the Everton lad have been recommended to us so we'll take a look at them. As for Andy Duncan, I haven't talked to him recently after the initial discussions, but I wouldn't expect much to happen until next week when the players come back.

"We'll be dealing with the squad players on Monday, checking their weight after the summer break, and sorting out kit before starting the training programme on Tuesday when the trialists will join us."

Meanwhile, still no news has been recieved regarding Boston Uniteds punishment for the alleged irregular payments to players.
