The Blues slipped into third place in the league with a easier win than the scoreline suggests over a plucky Elgin City side. Goals by Moore, Sharp, Swift and Jenkins ensured Stranraer collected all three points at Stair Park.

Stranraer had a few worried fans in the closing stages of this match after squandering a 3-1 half-time lead.
Michael Moore put the home-side into the lead after 27 minutes with a fortuitous goal. Moore connected with a Kevin Finlayson corner, but his effort looked to be going wide when it struck a Elgin defender and sailed into the back of the net.
A great combination move between Allan Jenkins, Michael Moore and Lee Sharpe paid off in the 32nd minute when Jenkins' cutback found Moore, whose subsequent back-heel was met by Sharpe at the back post for a simple tap-in.
Three minutes before half-time Allan Jenkins conceded a penalty when he felled Elgin midfielder Willie Martin. Alex Bone made no mistake from the spot and Andre McCondichie was sent the wrong way.
In the dying seconds of first-half injury time the Blues extended the lead to two goals when Stephen Swift headed home a Lee Sharp corner kick.
Stranraer skipper Allan Jenkins added a fourth goal in the 54th minute and the match looked long over. However, the Elgin City were far from spent.
Second-half substitute Chris Ogboke threw the visitors a lifeline in the 83 minute with a tremendous piledriver of a goal.
Two minute from time Willie Martin cut the deficit to one goal when he broke clean through the Stranraer defense and slipped the ball past McCondichie.
Man of the Match- Have your say on the message board.
Overall Summary- An easy victory...until half-time when the Blues turned up the heat on themselves. A nailbitter if nothing else!
