Despite adverse weather conditions Stranraer continued to keep the pressure on leaders Stirling Albion. The Blues goal scorers were Graham, Moore and Swift.

Stranraer closed the gap on Stirling Albion with a easy win over a stuggling Elgin City side.

David Graham got Stranraer in to the lead after twenty-one minutes with a shot from a goal-mouth scaramble.

Ten minutes later the Blues went 0-2 up after Michael Moore volleyed home a Kevin Finlayson cross.

Elgin managed to pulled one goal back in the 41st minute when Craig Tully headed home a Ryan McMullan corner.

Stranraer regained their two goal advantage in the 58th minute when Stephen Swift latched onto a left wing cross from David Graham to fire the ball past Pirie in the Elgin goal.
