Derby day in Worthington Cup!

Yesterday's draw for the Worthington Cup Second Round has thrown up an intriguing derby to be played at the Reebok Stadium in the week beginning Monday 30th September...

The Wanderers have been paired with Third Division local rivals Bury and will face the Shakers for the first time since the 1998/99 season.
That season Bolton beat Bury 4-0 at the Reebok with Arnar Gunnlaugsson and Michael Johansen scoring two goals each while Bury, who ended the season relegated, won the return fixture 2-1 at Gigg Lane.
In another twist, Wanderers Reserves will be playing all their games at Bury's Gigg Lane this season.
