Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has backed under-performing Nigerian import Jay-Jay Okocha and has backed him to fulfil his potential in the near future.
The Nigerian magician joined Bolton with a big reputation when he signed from Paris St Germain after the World Cup but Allardyce believes he needed time to settle in at the Reebok.
Big Sam said, "I would have liked his progress to have been a lot quicker. We all expect instant success but that's virtually impossible."
