Banks out on loan

Wanderers fourth choice goalkeeper Steve Banks has left the Reebok to join First Division new boys Stoke City on loan for a month.

Banks previously spent some time on loan at Bradford City earlier this season but returned to the Reebok because he sustained an injury at Valley Parade. Banks famously turned down a transfer to Stockport County last season as he said he would rather see out his contract at Bolton so that he got more money even though it was unlikely he'd play often for the first team.
