Tofting in Danish defeat

Wanderers midfielder Stig Tofting played for Denmark in their vital World Cup 2nd Round game against England in the Japanese city of Niigata.

Tofting started the game and was quite bright but England totally dominated the game and were 3-0 up by half time.
The frustration was clear for all to see as Tofting was booked for dissent late in the first half.
32 year old Wanderers midfielder Tofting was substituted during the second half, making way ironically for former Wanderers midfielder Claus Jensen.
