Stig calls it a day

Bolton Wanderers and Denmark midfielder Stig Tofting has announced his retirement from international football following his country's elimination from the FIFA World Cup.

32 year old Tofting had a promising World Cup but felt it was time to let youth have a chance after his country's dismal display against England in their 3-0 defeat.
Tofting will continue to play in Bolton's midfield next season.
