A fighting display by a depleted Dundee squad saw the Dark Blues secure the points thanks to a glorious strike from Gavin Rae in the 39th minute. This was the first win in the last four games and was also the worst performance, however as Gavin Rae said after the game it's the winn that counts

A depleted squad was defeated by Celtic at Dens, however the score in no way reflected the play. Only world class saves by Rab Douglas stopped Dundee going into the break well ahead. The message though is well clear to Ivano - You need to get in new faces FAST to cover for injuries and suspensions
