I don't watch much television & had forgotten that Channel 5 existed. I had to look twice when I read the above because this is what came into my head:
Great to see English rugby back but heartbreaking that we are still months away from a game. I just want a day out at a game. I’m feeling a lot more positive about the team but I just want a game to watch
Juan Pablo straight in the starting line-up for Sarries with 5 lions... why we didn't sign him back after cockerill wasted his talent at Edinburgh I don't know.
It was on BT sport, I watched it all and thought Sale have a fantastic side/squad. They did not win Quins definitely the better side on the night.
Then depression set in as I just can't see us matching their standards if we don't get some game time before November.
BT said 56 games to complete by October.
Also some very upsetting revelations from Ugo Monye of racial abuse at the age of two. His mum dropped him off at a nursery and someone stubbed 4 cigarettes out on his spine. A baby of 2 years!!!!!. He was visibly upset trying to talk about, so sad
I think so many of the games this season will have odd lineups...aside from the few pushing for top 4...the rest will just give their kids a run out, etc...most games will be meaningless borefests.
Should just end it now and get on with the end of season formality games.

what a world we live in, sick.
That's ridiculous. It's one thing, if a person is racist, to instinctively make an abusive comment (and obviously I'm not condoning that), but what kind of mentality must someone have to actually think to stub out a cigarette on a 2-year-old child's back?!
It may just take while to bed down Geordie. I have no love for football anymore but actually really enjoyed having the Premie League back, especially with the studio sounds. Hopefully the rugby will be the same. As we’re in Keswick at the moment I didn’t see any games on tv, did they do the same as football and have studio generated noise or was it just like being at a training session with the players shouting all you could hear?
Yeah it will take time. I just think with Saracens gone already ...teams will take the oppertunity to work on things, give the kids some gametime and generally have a few free "training games" with everything geared towards the start of the next season in November.
Of course they will all be worried about the formidable force coming back up from Kingston Park!

Maybe Leicester and Worc (and possible Irish) will but Glaws and above will be looking at 4th spot, we're still only 2/3rd the way through! Also with games coming hard and fast in midweek etc I'm looking forward to this filling the lockdown void for the next few months
