Premiership: Newcastle Falcons 22 v 10 Gloucester

Newcastle Falcons go top of the table for a couple of hours after beating Gloucester at Kingston Park.  It was a very hard fought match but Falcons in my opinon deserved the win.  And yes we are the only team in the Premiership not to have a Bonus Point.  

A monumental effort from club staff to get the game on was rewarded by a hard-fought Gallagher Premiership victory as Newcastle Falcons overcame Gloucester at Kingston Park Stadium on Saturday.

Tries from Adam Radwan, George McGuigan and Matias Orlando proved the difference after a week in which snow and freezing temperatures had threatened the fixture, Newcastle leading 12-7 at half-time and putting their shoulders to the wheel to close out the result.

The home side had got themselves off to the ideal start, Adam Radwan racing 95 metres down the right to score a stunning solo try as he left England wing Jonny May in his wake from turnover ball down the blindside.
