Joel Hodgson has spoken of his pride at reaching the 150-game milestone for Newcastle Falcons, should he be involved in Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership trip to Exeter Chiefs. The 29-year-old fly-half made a lively comeback from injury during the Falcons’ trip to Gloucester just under a fortnight ago, creating one try and kicking a further 10 points in his first outing of the season. Now standing on 149 appearances, including 14 tries and 525 points, the Newcastle native made no attempt to play down the significance he attaches to the century and a half mark. “If you’ve got anything about you, to achieve a milestone – however big or small – you’ve got to be proud of it,” said Hodgson.
More so in my case because I supported the Falcons as a little lad, so to play 150 games for the team I used to come and watch is something really special.

I remember baby Hodgson when he first moved up to the main team at quite a young age if I remember. Doesn't seem possible that we are 150 gems down the line since then.
