Ampthill away to open Premiership Rugby Cup

Newcastle Falcons will open their Premiership Rugby Cup campaign away to Ampthill on Saturday September 9. Making their first ever trip to Dillingham Park for a 3pm kick-off, the Falcons' first home game follows on Friday September 15 when Bedford Blues are the visitors to Kingston Park Stadium (7.45pm).

Sale Sharks visit Newcastle a week later with another 7.45pm kick-off on Friday September 22, before the Falcons travel to Leicester Tigers.

The 3pm kick-off on Saturday September 30 sees the Falcons looking for a repeat of last season's Premiership Rugby Cup result at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, when a last-minute converted try delivered a 32-31 triumph.
