Unbeaten Newcaste Falcons will get their first big test of the season when they arrive to take on a Wasps side boosted by the return of No. 8 Alfie Barbeary and Matteo Minozzi from international duty

Dean Richards' boys surprised eveyone with their opening win at Bath, and then managed a last ditch Toby Flood try to beat a poor Sale side at home last week.

This week they will be expecting a bigger attacking threat from a Wasps side, which lost its way in the second half at Gloucester last week and which has something to prove.

There are seven changes to the starting 15 that disappointed iin the second half at Kingsholm.

Paolo Odogwu keeps his place in the centre after coming off the bench last week. He'll be partnered by Jimmy Gopperth with Jacob Umaga fit again to start at fly half.

All change in the front row with  Simon McIntyre, Tommy Taylor and Jeff Toomaga-Allen starrting and Levi Douglas in the second row for the first time.

With Alfie at No. 8 we should have more than enough firepower.
