Good to get a big win at Sale even if it was in a cup competition which has yet to establish itself.

What the Premiership Cup does do is to give up and coming players a spot in the shop window and a 41-26 win cannot be sniffed at.

Zach Kibirige and Will Porter crossed in the first half to give Wasps a 14-7 lead.

In the second half they cut loose with tries  from Nizaam Carr, Dan Frost and Francois Hougaard. Sale came back to make it 31-19 courtesy of aWill Cliff only for Theo Vukasinovic and Paolo Odogwu to go over in quick succession to seal it for Wasps.

Back to league action on Saturday with the arrival of Falcons for a 3.00 kick off.

Nemo seemed to be back to his old self which bodes well for the rest of the season.
