What Wasps do on their day off

Normally the players enjoy an ice bath, some physio and a light work out the day following a match. On Sunday, two Wasps went one step beyond the night after a traditional Gatland soirée. They were out and about the day after beating Pontypridd in the 1st leg of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup.

Trevor Leota was busy out coaching his under-9 minis squad at a sun-baked London Wasps training ground. One wonders how many soccer players would selflessly make the effort to put something back into their sport at the grass roots level.

Meanwhile, down Kentish way, captain Lawrence Dallaglio was seen turning out in a charity match in unfamiliar colours. All in a rest-day's work for a Wasp...
