Provisional 2010/11 GP Fixtures

With the last season only just finished and the summer stretching out in front of us it seems a little premature to be looking at these but they're out now - subject to Sky, Reading FC and the other usual shenanigans...

So, the GP fixtures are out - provisionally. I'll say that again these are hot-off-the-press and therefore very much provisional - don't book anything until they're confirmed. We're also waiting for the HC fixtures as well as the Anglo-Welsh cup to be sorted-out.

Opening with Saracens in the London Double Header, hopefully without the Right Said Fred tune as it's our first "home" game. The first at the MadStad will be Gloucester on September 18th. We get our first taste of GP new-boys Exeter's hospitality in late October before welcoming them for the likely-to-be-poorly-named St Patrick's Day game on the 26th March. The season ends with Northampton as our last home match before the always-tricky trip to Welford Road to take us into the play-offs.

September seems a very long way away but with the fixtures to play with we can start getting excited about the 2010/11 season already!

Exeter have the home game confirmed as 23rd. I can see that Sky and ESPN will be causing havoc with the MB calendar though.

Griff, could you put the scores too? I just need to know if it is worth renewing my season ticket.

Do they mean Sat 12th or Sun 13th for Falcons?

Good spot - probably Sun 13th I think as 6N Eng v Ita at 1430 on Sat 12th. There is no clash at present with any Reading FC game although FA Cup factor cannot be discounted.

Bath as first away will be interesting, no time to sell tickets at the Mad stad for one where tickects are in short supply

please with Exeter away at the end of Oct looks like a couple of days in the SW for half term.

Dan gets a trip to Glaws for his Birthday!

Majority of newcastle games to be Friday nights assume they hope to have a better chance of winning with less away support, better provisionally book that Friday off work!"!

ESPN & Scrum.com see to have some further inside knowledge about dates and KO's:

ESPN/Scrum 2010 schedule

Having said that - it seems that nearly all matches KO is 15.00 (including BOTH LDH matches!)..(Sm68) ...and NO Friday matches at all! ...The only Sunday matches are in December & January it seems....(Sm152)

But don't believe ESPN's fixture list, I knew I'd seen last seasons list somewhere last week and just came across it again: 09/10 fixtures
according to it all fixtures were live on TV last season, I know I was in hospital a fair bit but didn't think I'd missed THAT much.
