TFTM 2012 - 14: Neal Hatley

Thanks for the Memories rolls onto yet another legend of London Irish. Hats or Beefy, whatever you call him Neal has been one of the greatest servants of our club and will be missed terribly.
Neal is another London Irish legend who will be greatly missed. After nearly a decade of service in our front row - making well over 200 appearances for us and captaining the England Saxons in their successful 2007 Churchill Cup campaign, on retirement from playing, Neal joined our coaching staff. As academy manager he has been responsible for developing much of the fine talent we enjoy watching each week. Neal moves on to Bath where he will be their new forwards coach. Thanks Neal and good luck at Bath.

He was the first LI player we spoke to face to face when he came Into our box during a Middx 7's tournament.
He'll be sadly missed standing in front of the dugout in his 3/4's in all weathers!

Will be missed in so many ways.
Bath can borrow him but, IMHO, he will always be London Irish at heart.
Hopefully he can further himself as a forwards coach whilst at Bath then come back to us in the future.
