European Challenge Cup 2015/16 Draw

The draw for the 2015-16 European Challenge Cup has been made in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. London Irish now know who they'll be facing in the coming competition.

Irish can attempt ECC revenge against Edinburgh who beat them in this season's quarter final at the Madejski Stadium. They can also hope to emulate this season's results against Grenoble as well as re-visiting Agen, opponents in the 2005/6 ECC.

Fixtures will be played on:

2015/16 Tournament weekends

Round 1: 12/13/14/15 November
Round 2: 19/20/21/22 November
Round 3: 10/11/12/13 December
Round 4: 17/18/19/20 December
Round 5: 14/15/16/17 January 2016
Round 6: 21/22/23/24 January 2016
Quarter-finals: 7/8/9/10 April 2016
Semi-finals: 22/23/24 April 2016
Finals: 13/14 May 2016

Pool 1: Connacht Rugby, Brive, Newcastle Falcons, Eniset-STM
Pool 2: Sale Sharks, Newport Gwent Dragons, Castres Olympique, Pau
Pool 3: Montpellier, Harlequins, Cardiff Blues, Cammi Rugby Calvisano
Pool 4: La Rochelle, Gloucester Rugby, Zebre Rugby, Worcester Warriors

Agen is a little over 2 hours drive south of us. Plenty of space if people want to establish base camp chez Monk en France. Contact me via Facebook or PM me here if you don't do FB. Depending on numbers will look at minibus / coach in and out on match day...

If the Gods are kind Bordeaux-Exeter may be the same weekend Now that would be a double header worth going to!
