The 2004 series of 'Meet the Family' starts with Giles the Drunk. One of our newer supporters, Giles readily admits to some questionable tastes in music.

How long supporting LI? Just over 1 season
Best ever LI game (Excluding 2002 cup final) Not many highlights on the pitch yet but it would have to be beating Glos at Kingsholm in the cup this season. Unfortunately I wasn’t there but ended up watching it in a suitably salubrious drinking establishment in Staines – great result. Drank a little bit too much and went on that night to convince everyone I spoke to in the night club that I’d just bought the club they were in and took lots of free drinks off unsuspecting punters !! For a match I’ve attended it would have to be LI v Sale. We won 9-3. Difficult to explain why – just a really close nerve-wracking game that we won – loved it !!
Favourite LI experience off pitch (Excluding 2002 cup final)

Tricky one – there’s been so many already ! Now this may surprise some of you but probably presenting Anthony (in the Globe in Narbonne) with a ‘World Tour of Narbonne’ LI shirt – the man was genuinely chuffed to bits – said a lot about the whole ‘rugby experience’ to me !

Apart from that just generally spending time with many many truly decent people drinking, dancing and singing our way through many mad weekends – long may it continue !

How did you start supporting LI? My best mate (Big Stu) invited me along to enjoy some rugby, a few pints of Guinness and some ‘diddly diddly’ music ! Never looked back !
What are your non-rugby pastimes? Golf and Basketball (although following the neck injury that may have to take a back seat for a while) and posting on the MB ! It has been kind of all-consuming in season 1 so the off-season is going to take some adjusting to !!
Any Irish connection? Mother’s side of the family are from Newfoundland – you don’t have to go back too far to find Irish descent ! I’ve got a cat called Murph if that’s any good ?
Most likely to say? Who's round is it ?
Least likely to say? No I can’t make it to the Paddy’s day game, it’s Mother’s day (sorry mum !!)
Tell us something about you we don't know. Claim to fame – I was the 4th fastest 100M runner in the country for my age group (U16’s) and have beaten Mark Richardson over 100 & 200M (before he took drugs (allegedly)).
