Harlequins would like your help and a questionnaire has been put together to help us in compiling information in helping us develop our position within the community for the coming years.
Please click on the appropriate survey and follow the questions which should take you no more than five minutes to complete. All completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win the new 'Away' shirt.
Season ticket holders: please provide your unique season holder supporter number where requested at the end of the survey.

done..some intersting questions...thought the options regarding 6 words that best reflect the club were a bit telling!! No Fish and Chips or Flat cap selections!!

Problem with surveys is that you are limited by the intent of the questioner. The best bit was the comments box at the end...I let 'em have it with both barrels about the Balti Pies!

I agree, you have to be careful phrasing the questions not to pre-empt of prompt the reply you want. Also there are areas bound to be missed / overlooked. EG one question is how do you commute to work? Well not everyone does! some are retired, others are students or house wives / husbands etc.
Another question asks if you could park you car OK. Yes. But what about getting away afterwards? That is not asked!
And my bete noire. Tell us about your fanship of Harlequins? Ugh. THat use of a non existant word made me squirm, pedant that I am!

Also, what is the relevance of how I commute to work? And why could you only choose one option? I use tube and train, but only one box could be ticked

quarters - all STHs and other people who have bought tickets from Quins should have received an e-mail about this - and it will have included your supporter number if you have one

And yet we never castigate Shakespeare for using non-words like "courtship", "watchdog" or, erm, "incarnadine".
Fanship is an ugly word, but language changes all the time. Just don't get me started on "ur" as a substitute for "Your" or (worse) "You are".

'Non-existant' is a non-existent word (or should that be two?) too! Standards of pendantry must be upheld! 
Is there a question which asks: 'Do you want us to sign Gavin Henson?' ?
I remember filling in a similar survey for the new RL side a few years ago. Unfortunately the four Quins fans involved had consumed a few glasses of wine beforehand and I fear the answers were not very useful!

I thought the survey was a good idea but my answer to 'fanship' was that there is no such word. Filled in the rest and I think the club asking its supporters is a good thing to do.

Methinks it is to work out most effective means of marketing. i.e. adverts on tubes, versus huge billboard in Waterloo... (just a thought)
