Quinssa Meet The Coaches & Academy Evening Wed 23 March

Wednesday 23rd March, 7pm for 7:30pm start. Debenture Bar, Etihad Stand, Twickenham Stoop Stadium
We are delighted to announce another event in the "Quinssa Meet The..." series of events.
This time it will be a joint one between the coaches and academy.
7.00 – 7.30pm – Arrival
7.30pm – Start
7.30 – 8.15 - Meet the Academy. A short presentation and video from Dippy to start things off then open to the floor for Q&A re: Academy.
In attendance will be Jim Evans, Howard Graham and Tony Diprose from the Academy coaching staff and the following academy players: Rob Buchanan, Will Collier, Sam Twomey, Joe Trayfoot, Sam Stuart, Ross Chisholm, Luke Wallace, Darryl Marfo and Miles Mantella (Lindsay-Hague is in Hong Kong and Matthews away at Loughborough). All are happy to answer any questions.
5 min break for drinks at bar
8.20 – 9.15 – Meet the Coaches. Straight into Q&A with 1st XV coaches. In attendance will be John Kingston, Collin Osborne and Tony Diprose.
If you are intending to come could you let Steve know (steve@quinssa.org.uk) so we can sort out logistics.

Well I'm looking forward to the more vociferous of the critics turning up! Should be a good bun fight. At last they get the chance to put their criticisms in person, I hope they're as excited as I am!

Don't forget this is tomorrow (Wednesday) night, lots of players there, most if not all of the coaches - we're not sure about Tofty because his wife had a baby at the weekend.

I do hope there is some clarification on the responsibilities of the coaching staff per se so that following our next loss the cries of "X Must Go" can be aimed at the right person(s)

Can only answere for myself but I thought it went well ie I enjoyed it.
With regard the coaching well then you'd have to say "everyone must go" as from what they were saying its a joint venture,everyone gives input and yes they do like to have new ideas but obviousely have a base strattergy from which they work. You'd have to put Connor in with that as sounds like hes very hands on.
Main thing that really came accross to my view was how united they all are, not just Academy but Quins as a whole, intergrating the First squad with the Academy, for training and mentorship.

It was interesting to note the non-appearance (at least vocally) at the Q&A session of any of those pressing for JK to resign or be sacked.
