I threw this together in a hurry just so we all have some facts to base discussions on. Let me know the obvious blunders I made.

Ouch, I've just renewed. In previous years I've just renewed without thinking. This year I thought but still renewed. Another year of these increases and I will seriously think of downgrading my ticket from Premier to Club. Then, instead of getting an increase from me, the Club will get less.

Actually, I shouldn't say Club. Increasing prices and then taking away the free parking means we're regarded as customers not members or supporters

Well, on the up side, I'm nearly £1,400 better off.

Yes, as I said in the article, Jesters have been royally shafted this year.

yep, and what it says to me is that the 'new' jester price is the level that Quins see that it should be, so expect a hike on jester price to £239/£249 for the following season.

Although the Jester ticket is the only category in which Quins are not the most expensive, and in fact you pay more to stand at Glos, and other places than for a Jester seat.

No doubt this anomaly will be addressed next year!!

I feel my touchline ticket is a reasonable price compared to other clubs, but I think our Gold, Premier and Club members are getting a bit of a raw deal.

First bought my ST in 2002-03. Cost was £55 in North Stand (between the post).

Now in Jester North Stand (Block GA) - costs £199.00.

Sad thing is we will continue buy/renew our season tickets and they know this.

Hope someone from the club actually reads this website, and realise how the fans feel at the minute.

There have been rather too many proles around the place recently. They've all got sky TV anyway so will hopefully return to their place.

As Stooperman says, the touchline prices remain reasonable. If I were in any other category I'd have taken my money elsewhere. Actually rather amazed not to be recategorised. Having had the same seat on the 1/2 way side of FF since it was built has served me well.

Look again sam at the seating plan at the bottom of the link. I think you'll find you've been reclassified (Like me in FD), but this year they're treating you as if they hadn't! Next year...time to move I think.

Ah - right you are. I can't say I'm overly bothered - it was very much a 60/40 decision to renew for next season. Having a whole season to decide whether to downgrade to jester or - far more likely I think - not bother at all will make things easier this time next year.

Something about the atmosphere of the place has really changed for me. If it wasn't for the near ideal seat I'd have saved my money years ago. Quins really does compete against a range of other 'leisure' activities for me - given many of those are free & easier to get to Quins it's become a fairly easy decision.

Even 8% is annoying on principle - just affordable.

Yikes, that is a bit of a hike next year for us, DOK. Assuming these prices don't go up any in 12 months...

I have gone from Jester to Club seats in 3 years. This is really taking the p**s. My seat is in the Etihad front two rows opposite the tunnel, yes it is me who shouts at you to sit down or keep moving whilst the game is still being played. This new idea that my seat should be a Club members price is crap. Who would pay that price for a ticket so that you can get wet when it rains, have your view obscured by late comers, two stupid bears, camera men and advertising hoardings. I can afford 1 more season with my daughter as they are holding the price from last season, which was also a category change!!! but after that? I am a STH not a member I don't want to be a member. I come along with my daughter watch a great game of rugby have a drink with friends I have made and go home. Why do I need or would use, 10% off hospitality, hire The Stoop be invited to events. I want to pay for 2 seats for the season at a fair price.

Yes, if we'd had to pay for the upgrade to club this year we'd have had to find an extra £134. A price rise of 45.42%!

But if all we are going to do is do the same next year, assume it will be of that magnitude!

I suspect that Quins will lose most of my group of 8 over this.
The reclassification of the front of the stands to Club is a joke. My wife and daughter sit there with most of the rest and to pay "club" prices for those seats is a shocking case of taking the pi$$ from Quins management.

Haven't lots of seats been re-classified from Club to Touchline in the North and South stands?

The overall price increases are a bit disappointing but the cheap tickets are still good value and really there are no bad seats at the Stoop. The rugby has got better, the stadium is second to none and the club, having done their research (one hopes!) have restructured the ticket and membership offer.

I hope those who find the increases too much will downgrade rather than leave.

No I don't like the cheap seats with restricted view. I'd rather not bother frankly and watch it on Premiership TV (for free).

I'm the same just wanna see the rugby. I don't need a 5% off voucher at some shop that sells £200 shirts or 2 quid off of a £100 meal, just wanna turn up watch the rugby and go home, looks like this may not be the case from now on.

How much was it in 2009/10?
Think it was in the region of £180 so not much of a rise over 4 years.

Well I am really not happy with the price rise and as a club member loosing the members bar and international ballot. But I am a rugby man and Quins through and through so will continue to go and not and watching on telly will never be an option.

As there are alot of threads about this, apologies if someone else has mentioned this before but...

I remember a while ago a discussion about planning applications for developing the stoop.

One of the stipulations for planning applications was that there was a required limit, if I remember correctly something like 10% (may be wrong was a while ago), for a maximum limit of the number of cars for people arriving to the stoop. Something along the lines that they could only extend the capacity of stoop if less than 10% of people arrived by car.

It was just a thought as again a while ago, the club was suggesting that if we sold out the ground more than 3 times in the season, and had an average attendance above some number they would be looking at extending.

Does this explain the reason for paying for parking?? Was just a thought I had last night.

For 2012 - 2013 season I paid £220 per seat for my 2 seats in the Etihad, Block: AE Row: B.

They will now cost £319 each - an increase of £99 per seat! That's a 45% increase by my maths.

After 10 years as a season ticket holder with these two seats, I'm going to save my money and get Sky for next season.

I'm sorry to be going after many great and some not so great times and I'll miss the friends we've made over the years.

And while I'm at it why do I want to put up with getting wet when it rains, obstructed viewing at the the start and finish of each half. 'Fans' leaving early at the end of the game and wandering around on the concours while the stewards do nothing.

It is all rather a sour note to be leaving on

Was that the initial offer price of £99 that they did a few seasons back? £99 for a season ticket is ludicrously cheap, IMO...

Yep, 6 quid per game, yet I remember someone on here having a right strop when the price was raised to 150.

has your seat been recatogorised? I thought they were holding the catagory would remain for you for next season.

I haven't seen any reference to an early bird discount - does that apply in 2013/14 ?

I do feel sympathy for people who will be suffering a significant cost increase because of the Club's re-pricing. The club are hoping that the demand curve for tickets is relatively inelastic - they want the income lost from lapsed or downgraded renewals to be more than offset by the price increases.

Clearly the club does have a need to increase revenue. There is pressure on the cost base as the salary cap rules were softened to allow marquee players. The club makes a loss before tax anyway.

I can't see a seat price of £360, there is a family package, 1 adult and 1 child for £360.

This is what the ticket office is telling me

"Your Season Tickets were previously Jester. This was changed to Touchline last season but we honoured the Jester pricing for that year. Your Membership will be at the Touchline level for this season - £360.00. These seats have been re-categorised again to Club now but we are honouring the Touchline prices for this year".

Which ever way you cut it a jump from £220 to £360 is pretty stiff and I'll still get an obstructed view by people moving about on the concours in front (without steward intervention) and wet when it rains. Not worth it I'm afraid.

Having bought a five year season ticket with my debenture, I have about 6 months to prepare for the Club's debenture offering for the next 5 years... (If there is one)... I fear the worst but, who knows, when all this shakes down over the summer, sanity might actually prevail. I live in hope. I love Quins and I love the debenture lounge - but not at any price. It has to be sane.... Especially with all the awful kick off times....
