Up To Second
Jones Try

Quins' start the weekend in second spot after overcoming a hard working Falcons 24-10 at The Stoop. Most of the fireworks were before kick off but this was still an absorbing encounter .
Both sides were missing some of their "stars" but the game was sprinkled with honest endeavour.
Quins triumphed, for once, because of their solid and intelligent defence as the visitors enjoyed more than their fair share of possession. However, they rarely looked like crossing.
The first try summed it all up.
Falcons attacking with George McGuigan prominent then Cadan Murley broke through in midfield with some ease - Tommy Allan receiving to send Huw Jones over. It all looked so simple.

Murley and Louis Lynagh (right) then scored for Quins and it looked like Falcons might be in for a hiding.
However, Tom Marshall replied just before the break and then Quins lost Longmore and Care to the bin early in the second half.
The Geordies failed to take that opportunity and Murley scored again to get that important bonus point.
It took us four points clear of Sarries who host Tigers in one of the Saturday games.
