The hard fought win over a rugged Tigers all but clinched the top 4 play-off place for Quins. With three games left the 26-20 victory creates a ten point gap over Exeter and Gloucester who are aiming for the fourth place.
It was a close game throughout as Tigers suffered only their fourth defeat of the campaign.
Will Collier scored first for Quins only for Nemani Nadolo and Hanro Liebenberg's tries to put Tigers ahead.
Cadan Murley then cossed to give the home team a 15-12 lead but that wasn't to last as Jasper Weise gave Tigers a 17-15 lead with a quarter of the game to go. 
Another thrilling finish was in store and after the European disappointment The Stoop faithful deserved a better outcome. Smith restored the lead from a penalty only for Freddie Burns to make it 20-18 to Leicester with the clock ticking down.
Cue Louis Lynagh. He made the break which allowd Marcus Smith to send Andre Esterhuizen crashing tyhroigh the tackles to get the winning score .
