Quins Get There - Eventually

A tremendous second half revival saw Quins overturn a 17 point half-time defecit to guarantee their semi-final place. 

In front of a  festive and boisterous Twickenham it was Gloucester who took the first half iniatitive to stun home supporters. 

The boys in blue scored three tries through Ben Morgan, Freddie Clarke and Chris Harris with Alex Dombrand getting the only reply.

It was Quins 7 Gloucester 24 at oranges and time for a major intervention from Tabai Matson. Whatever he said worked as Gloucester failed to add to their points tally in the second half. Quins ground their way back into the game with Joe Marler playing his part after coming on after 20 minutes.

Danny Care seize on a long line-out throw to race clear and gain an attacking scrum. That allowed him to kick through for Joe Marchant to touch down.

The pressure continued to force Gloucesterr to make errors and when Hastings took the ball into touch Joe Marchant was again the beneficiary - courtesy of a long pass as he lurked out wide.

The revival was complete when  Louis Rees-Zammit was binned for slapping the ball down with Quins taking advantage of the extra man to send in Cadan Murley for the fourth try.
