Falcons Game On

Due respect was paid as the rugby authorities took some time to decide that the Saturday and Sunday Premiership games could go ahead. So, Quins will start the season in Northumberland against a side no longer led by Dean Richards.

It's a fairly familiar looking line-up. Irne Herbst is one new face and we will start in the second row in a side led by Alex Dombrandt with Stephan Lewies injured.

Joe Marler is still in there and looked good against Leinster last  week and with no Marcus Smith we will see Tommy Allan partnering Lewis Gjaltema at half-back.

Falcons will be a unknown quantity with Dave Walder in charge. However, many tip them for bottom place with few new signings apart from fly-half Tian Schoeman from Bath and a few notable departures.
