Three In A Row

Quins are still third in the Premiership despite losing three in a row? Crisis -what crisis? However,  as far as the league is concerned it may be opportune that a trip to Racing '92 might provide the perfect opportunity to get things back on track.

It was never going to be easy on a windy and rainy day  against second place Sale Sharks who ran out 24-16 winners to deny Quins any points.

It was a nip and tuck game with Sharks holding a 14-6 leak at the break at oranges as Tom O'Flaherty and Rob du Preez scored too easily.

Joe Marchant got the first try of the second half as Quins fought back only for  Akker van der Merwe to touch down from a driving maul.

Cobus Wiese then powered over making Nick David's late try a mere consolation with a head injury to Tommy Allan a major concern. He was stretchered off after a head clash with Manu Tuilagi.

Tabai Matson told the media: "We were in the fight with 15 minutes to go. Lots of things went much better than last week but, in conditions like this, we need to do a better job if we are going to create enough scoring opportunities.

"If you are not attacking well, you have to defend well and we didn't do that well enough."
