Quins notched their first win of the season which was no mean feat against a strong Exeter side which is missing a few less internationals than some other clubs.

It wasn't the prettiest of games but the 22-14 scoreline was just about right.

Ehren Painter bustled over for Chiefs to get the scoreboard ticking with Jack Kenningham equalising courtesy of a pass from Alex Dombrand.

Louis Lynagh then gave Quins the lead as he outwitted three tacklers to go in under the posts . It looked to have got even better but a Luke Northmore effort was chalked off for a foot in touch. However, Will Jospeh finished in the corner to give Quins a 19-7 lead at the break.

Chiefs had the better of things in the second half with Dan Frost putting them  in range.

Fortunately, Quins manged to keep them out and added insult to injury with Will Edwards' last minute penalty depriving Chiefs of a losing bonus point.
