Bonus Point Try
By MG

The Premiership is well and truly back up and running as players arrive back from the World Cup with Marcus Smith and Co. proving too strong for bottom club Newcastle Falcons.

The 40-12 win puts Quins in second place just one point behind Chiefs with four games played.

The result  was never in much doubt after Sam Riley and Dino Lamb crossed for Quins after Falcons' hooker Bryan Byrne was yellow carded for a deliberate knock-on.

It was 21-0 at the break after Nick David scored Quins' third and the bonus point try came shortly after the restart as Alex Dombrand finished off a flowing move.

Louis Lynagh finished for the fifth before Tyrone Green completed the scoring with a superb effort. Marcus Smith had come on as a replacement and his kick to the corner saw Green somehow dive to collect and score. Spectacular wasn't the word and much to the delight of his fans.

Falcons' consolation came from a penalty try and a last minute effort from Jamie Blamire.
