Estherhuizen Try

Quins couldn't stay with Stade Toulouse in the second half as the French champions handed out a 19-47 lesson in running rugby.

The line breaks and support play were of a dfferent class and a lesson on how to play with intensity for 80 minutes.

Toulouse scored seven tries in all wth Quins almost holding their own in a first half which looked more like a game of sevens. It was tit for tat with Quins crossing twice through Andre Esterhuizen and Imre Herbst,  while Toulouse had Tongan Akhu breaking through at will to set up fellow centre Pierre-Louis Barassi and then Dimitri Delibesl

Akhi was sin-binned for a tackle on Dino Lamb which saw the Quins' lock needing lengthy treatment before being stretchered off . Fortunately, first reports from the medics was encouraging.

Toulouse led 19-12 at the break but thoughts of Quins overcoming that lead were soon dashed. Herbst did score a second,  but the visitors managed to cross four more times leaving Quins in 4th place in Pool 2.
