Alex Dombrandt's boys lead the way at the top of the Gallagher Premiership after a five point win at Newcastle Falcons. Enjoy it while it lasts as either Saints or Exeter will move to the top depending on the outcome at Sandy Park today (Saturday).

Falcons were looking for their first win and were up against a Quins side which rested some of the "stars" but the 24-3 win was never in doubt with the visiting scrum on top all game.

Nick David got things going  with a try in the first minute from a scrum taking a great ball from Will Edwards. Will Edwards is tackled by Newcastle Falcons' Brett Connon during the Gallagher Premiership match at Kingsto

With Falcons' flyer Adam Radwan in the bin for a no-arms tackle on Will Porter, Andre Esterhuizen was able to take advanatge of the space to give his side a 10-3 lead at oranges.

Jack Walker and George Hammond both crossed after the break to secure the bonus point.

Director of Rugby Billy Millward told the media: "It was far from perfect but that's a big win and big points for us.

"You've just got to keep winning because it's such a tight competition and everyone else keeps winning. It was massive points for us."
