Second Try

Anyone expecting a points fest when Quins met old enemies Sarries were wrong - but they won't have beeen disappointed by the game. Quins taking the honours 17-10 by virtue of a tremendous rearguard action.

Sadly, it will also be remembered for an horrific ankle injury to Saracens and Scotland back row Andy Onyeama-Christie early in the game. Here's hoping for a complete recovery.

There was only one try in it at half-time and it went to Quins with the impressive Fin Baxter going over from close range. It came after a penalty against  Ben Earl for dissent with Marcus Smith taking the opportunity  to kick to the corner. Stephan Lewies took the line-out ball to create the opportunity for Baxter to force his way over with Smith adding the extras.

Everyone expected Sarries to come out guns blazing after oranges -they didn't dissapoint with Hugh Tizard diving  over to level the scores.

Quins had to defend for long periods until Lennox Anyanwu seized his chance with a burst down the right wing. Smith converted and added a penalty while all the visitors had to show for their econd half endeavours was a oenalty from  Alex Lozowski.
