Tough To Take

A late late try from Bath's Francois van Wyk stole the game for Bath 24-26 who had never been in the kead until that point.

The bonus for The Stoop faithful was that new boy Rodrigo Isgro showed his talent with two first half tries.

Quins were worth their half-time seven point lead. But they never extinguished the Bath threat and there was a little but of inevitability when a penalty allowed Bath to build pressure as the clock ticked down with Van Wyk eventually going over in the corner.

Coach Danny Wilson was frustrated: "I felt in that last 10 minutes we just handed them opportunities from falling a little bit out of system.

All of a sudden we handed them a few opportunities to get back into it and they're too good a team to do that, and they took their opportunity and therefore deserved their win."
